About us
The Spanish-Norwegian Chamber of Commerce (SNHK) is a member-driven community founded in 1934. For over 90 years, we have brought together businesses from Spain and Norway to build lasting connections, share knowledge, and grow in the Norwegian market.
We are not a service provider. We are a platform built by our members, for our members.
A relationship built on exchange
Long before SNHK existed, Norway and Spain were already trading what each did best. Norwegian salted cod — bacalao — travelled south to Spanish tables. Spanish oranges made their way north to Norwegian homes.
That natural, complementary exchange laid the foundations of a commercial relationship built on trust and mutual benefit. SNHK was founded in 1934 to give that relationship a home — and has been growing it ever since.
